Well hey there! My name is Artichoke Annie, I'm a 6 month old female black lab (possibly mix) and I am on the hunt for my forever home. I currently weigh just under 30 pounds and the puppy calculator says I should top out right around 65 pounds. I am an energetic girl and would love an active home that will take me for a lot of walks, hikes, and maybe even get me into some fun activities. I pull on my leash when we first start my walks but calm down pretty fast, I love to stop and sniff things but so far ignore other animals and humans while we are out and about. I know how to sit and I'm working on stay, I will definitely need to add more training to my foundation to be the best dog that I can be. I'm kennel trained and potty trained, though I can have an occasional accident if I'm over excited. I currently live with other dogs and I love to play with them but the older dogs do tend to get annoyed with me wanting to play pretty quickly. I am pretty content to just cuddle or chew on a toy after a good exercise session though so we don't have to be go go go all the time! I also live with kids right now and I think they're great, I have been known to knock the little ones down on occasion but I am getting a lot better at giving them more space and being gentle.
