This agreement is entered into this date by and between Rescue Rovers (“RR”) and the applicant (“Adopter”) for the adoption of the above identified rescue dog (“the dog”).

Payment for dogs adopted more than 100 miles from Salt Lake City must be made by Credit Card or Venmo only. 

RR requires surrender of the dog back to an authorized representative of RR if Adopter elects to terminate adoption for any reason. Further, Adopter may not sell, give away or otherwise transfer possession of the dog to any party other than RR, including family members, shelters, alternate rescues or third party not named in original adoption paperwork. *

Adopter agrees to notify RR immediately should a need arise to terminate the adoption of the dog, and to pay in full all costs associated with the dog’s safe return to an authorized RR representative in Salt Lake City, Utah, unless other arrangements are offered at the sole discretion of RR. Return costs must be paid to RR in advance (by credit card) based on estimate provided by RR. These costs are, but are not limited to: gas, airfare, inter-transport stopovers such as driver hotel, boarding, etc.*

Adopter agrees to have certificate of health, if needed for interstate transport, performed at Adopter expense by a licensed veterinarian at least 10 days before return transport.*

Failure to comply with this agreement grants RR the right to repossess the dog without refund of any adoption fees and to be reimbursed for all fees associated with repossession.*
