Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog from Rescue Rovers! We work hard to place our dogs in loving forever homes and we are excited that you want to be a part of that!
The first step is to fill out the following profile so that we can determine what type of dog will be the best fit for your home. The profile provides us with important information. Please provide detailed answers for each question.
Our adoption fee is
$250 for dogs under 2 years of age. If you complete a training course with a dog under 2 year of age within 3 months of adoption Rescue Rovers will refund you $50 of your adoption fee. We believe training is important for every dog, but especially for puppies!
The adoption fee for dogs over 2 years is
Senior dogs (usually 10 and up, 8+ for very large dogs) are $100.
Your Rescue Rover will come to you spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. He or she is also fully vetted by their foster family.
In order to qualify to adopt a Rescue Rover dog you must:
Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid drivers license or state identification card
Have the consent of the homeowner
Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide proper nourishment and care, medical treatment and training for a pet.
Your information is never sold to outside parties.
Please note: We accept multiple applications on each of our dogs. Dogs are not placed on a first come, first served basis. After the selected applicants have met the dog we choose the home that we feel is the best match for that dog. Your application is good for 6 months to meet any of our dogs! If you aren’t selected for your first choice we will be happy to help you find another pet to love!
Be advised, individuals who deliberately provide false information will be denied.
We must have a physical address in order to approve an application. If you listed a PO Box above, please list your physical address here. Otherwise, you may reply with "same".*
