Have you always wanted a Golden Retriever but didn’t want that pesky blonde hair on your dark clothes? If you have answered “Yes!” to this question, meet your solution… Ophelia. This black beauty is an 18-month old mix of possible Golden Retriever and Great Pyrenees, weighing in at a bit over 50 pounds. This young lady is looking for some new adventures and cozy comfort in her life! Before being rescued, Ophelia lived her life as an outdoor dog. Because of her past, she is still learning house manners and refining her potty training. Ophelia is a smart girl, so with some reinforcement and routine, she will have these new skills down in no time! Ophelia is very gentle in nature and she does really well around children. This beauty has proven to be great with other dogs of medium size (or larger), though she has not yet met a cat or a little dog. She’s always willing to try new things, though, and can be introduced to these little bundles if you have any. Ophelia loves attention and affection and never turns a hand away. If you’re searching for a girl that deserves some much needed TLC, a warm bed in a cozy house and you have a lap she can rest her head on, please apply for her adoption at rescuerovers.org !
