Hi! My name is Sassy Pants and I’m a 24lb whippet/jack Russell mix. People call this designer breed a jackawhip! I just turned 6 years old and found myself in need of a new forever home.
I am super cute and full of fun! I am an active girl and I LOVE to take walks, go hiking, play tug and fetch with my people. I love to do almost anything with my people! I think snuggling is almost as good as playing - especially if I get to burrow under a blanket!
I love to please my people. I listen so well and respond quickly when people want something. I have lots of training behind me, too. I know several commands and with an e collar I am off leash trained for hikes, etc.
I am 100% potty trained and crate trained. Foster mom says I’m one of the smartest, most responsive doggies she’s ever met. I currently live with 2 dogs and I’m fine with them, but I would definitely prefer to be the only dog in my forever home. Or to have a doggie friend who is a small male - they seem to be my favorite companions.
When I came to my foster home I was very skittish for a few days. Now, though, I am a happy girl and I love all the people in my foster home. I love to do what I'm asked and be told I am a good girl! Just a little bit of structure in my home helps me feel relaxed and keeps me from being anxious or bossy.
I love to have a routine I can count on! My days right now consist of a nice walk in the morning and then chilling with my foster dad in his office while he works. I'm a great office mate - I'm always quiet during conference calls and I never make a mess! Well, sometimes I spread some toys out, hehe.
I am looking for a family who will take me on adventures and love me as much as I love them. I need a home with kids who know how to be nice to a doggy and are a little older, 6+ would be great!
