Lalaloopsy is a two-year old border collie female with lots of lala-love to give! She is thirty-four pounds, already spayed, up-to-date on shots, micro chipped, and ready for her forever home! She is a quiet and sweet dog who has been such an easy foster. This girl is very responsive; comes when called and has been good off-leash, listens well and wants to be with people. Although a bit nervous at first, she is quick to warm up and give loves. Lalaloopsy may have been an outdoor dog in her previous life. She came from a cattle ranch and was an owner surrender because she wouldn’t work the cattle- but can we blame her? Cattle are big and scary. When she came to her foster home she didn’t seem to be housebroken and was nervous about household things like stairs, the TV, and seeing herself in the mirror. She is adjusting well to life in a home and is doing great with potty training. She is crate trained and will go in on her own or when you tell her to “get in bed”.  Lalaloopsy is good with the kids in her foster home but the neighbor kids can make her nervous. She does well with a quiet introduction. When she is comfortable she loves to play. She can be a bit mouthy when playing and giving loves and will need continued work to help her learn how to gently play with people and kids. She is good with cats and other dogs and seems to have a submissive personality. This affectionate and sensitive girl is sure to be an excellent addition to a loving home that is willing to work with her and build her confidence through training and socialization.
