Looking for a tall, handsome, hunk of a man. . . Man-dog? Yes?! Well you have come to the right place! My name is Ulrich (Foster mom calls me Ricky). I am a 1-1 1/2 year old, male German Shepherd. I am a gorgeous boy with striking amber eyes looking for my forever home. I am great with all dogs with a proper introduction and I love all people, big and small. . . Although I might knock the small ones over accidentally. I am fully house trained and crate trained. Sometimes I fuss a bit in my crate because I just want to be hanging out with my people but after a minute or two I calm right down. I do fairly well on a leash and even though I don't know many manners at the moment, I'm an awesome and lovable guy. Foster mom has been working on some commands with me, so far "come" or my name (Ricky) is the only one I have down, it's a shepherd thing. . . We are extremely smart but we don't want anyone to know it. I will need patience and some obedience training and if you plan to change my name, I will need time to learn and respond to it. I love going on walks and stretching my legs out in the backyard so an moderately active family and a fenced backyard is a must.
