My name is Opal and I am a 4 month old Border Collie mix. I am the sweetest, kindest, softest dog in town! And I am incredibly smart! My foster mom only had to show me ONCE how to ring the bells on the door to go out when I need to potty and I immediately learned. I haven't had one accident in the house ever! I am a bundle of joy but I am also a bundle of energy. I LOVE to run and play and run and play and run and play some more. I love to play with other dogs sooooo much that I would really love to be be adopted by a family with another dog or two or five! I have so much energy that when I wear out the dogs that I'm playing with, I will chase my own tail for entertainment. I definitely need a family who will love to take me to dog parks, long walks/runs and spend lots of time with me having fun outside the house. I am super affectionate, always checking in with my foster mom and making sure she is nearby for me to lick or snuggle if I need her. I like cats, I will lick them ALL OVER and try to play with them but I know when to back off if a dog or cat makes it clear they don't want to play right now. I am mischievous like most puppies and will try to steal your shoes, chew on your socks, drink your coffee and I like to run behind the couch for fun and peek out at you from both sides seeing if you can catch me. (You can't.) If you have a home with a large yard for me to run in and you want to always be outside with a fun loving high energy pup companion, I'm your girl!
