My name is Babe and I’m a 1 year old German Shepherd mix.  Don’t ask me what I’m mixed with, because I don’t know.  I weigh about 35 pounds.   I recently weaned my puppies and got them all settled in their new homes.  Now it’s time for me to find my forever family.  Is it you?   I am an active girl that likes to run and play, but I also love to snuggle.  I often forget that I am so big and like to consider myself a lap dog.  I am still working on my manners.  My foster mom doesn’t think anyone has ever really worked with me.  I have learned to come and sit, but I’m still trying to figure other things out..  I love my crate and sleep in it quietly every night.  I have also done great with my house training.  It has been a long time since I have had an accident in the house.  I am good around the cat.  I was curious about her at first, but now I just ignore her.  I play well with other dogs, but when they try to be really dominant, I don’t like it.  I was exposed to chickens once, I got to go up to their fence to see them.  I was fine until they moved, then I was scared of them and tried to run away.  I am a really good girl, and if my new family is willing to work more on my training, I will be amazing!
