SPECIAL NEEDS CUTIE! Zazzles is the perfect embodiment of special needs.  She has a specific need yet is VERY special!  She was born deaf, but still manages to do just fine as a loving and lovable companion.  So, do you like to sing loudly in the car?  A bit off key?  Do you wish you could go get something to eat without your dog jumping up and following you around?  Go ahead… she will stay fast asleep after a fun day of playing, taking walks and giving kisses.  

 

She is a one year old, female Pittie mix with a sweet and happy disposition.   Being deaf doesn’t make her nervous, so you shouldn’t be nervous either.  She plays, learns, loves and does just as much as any hearing dog.  She understands a few basic commands, but you'd want to continue working with her to learn new ones using basic sign language. Will you teach her? 

 

Zazzles already is potty and crate trained. She has a gentle and curious nature, and isn't a big barker or drooler.  Being a younger dog she does have some energy so daily walks are a good idea, and a fenced-in backyard would be ideal.  She loves to meet new people young or old, but sometimes gets so excited she jumps up.   

 

 

Zazzles regularly goes to doggie day care and is learning how much fun it can be to play with other dogs.  She would love a fur sibling and she would also be great as the only dog, since she startles easily and does not hear cues from other dogs.
