Hi there! I’m Arloe a 1.5-year-old, 20lb poodle mix. When I got to my foster home I was matted head to toe, had been on the run more than a few days, and was so scared of everyone. My foster family is not sure what my history is, but based off of how I looked when I got here, it wasn’t very good. Because of this I can be shy meeting new people, but I warm up quick and when I do, I’m the best companion ever. 

I’m a smart guy- crate trained, leash trained, and an excellent car buddy—take me with you and I’ll happily curl up on the floor of the passenger seat and nap while you drive. Just wake me up when we get to the fun! I do well with other dogs of all sizes, but I need a little bit of a slow introduction.  In my foster home I live with 3 other dogs, I absolute love to play tug of war and chase with the another pups.  I am also very respectful of bossy dogs and overall very submissive to dogs that I currently live with.  Don’t have any dogs? That’s great too, I would be just as happy being your one and only.  I have lived with a cat and sometimes I would chase him, but I started learning to leave him alone. I’m very smart!

Sounds great so far right, I mean look at how handsome I am, and very little to no shedding!  I am looking for someone to be my leader and build my confidence, after all it is a big scary world out there (remember I was on my own for a bit and needed to fend for myself)!   I need a calmer house, somewhere I can kick my paws up and relax.  Kids over 8 would be best. I also like to go for walks. One a day is fine, more are okay too. Sniffing the flowers is my favorite.
