This is Ignacio, but you can call him by his nickname—Nacho. This stout little boy of 2 years and 10 pounds will be your tiny shadow, your snuggle buddy, entertainer extraordinaire, and energetic playmate! Even though a tragedy left him partially paralyzed, Nacho doesn’t let it slow him down. He loves zooming around the house, hopping on the couch, and playing fetch or tug of war just as much as he loves a good long nap. He’s crate trained, and he’s even learned to use the dog door when when he needs to go out, though we keep a belly band on him to prevent accidents due to a little trouble with aim. We don’t know how or when it happened, but Nacho has a bullet in his spine. Several veterinarians have warned against removing it, as it could be dangerous for Nacho. In spite of this, Nacho is a ball of joy and energy. We don’t know if his hind legs will improve, get worse, or stay the same. But if this smile melts your heart, he might be the perfect new friend for you! Are you ready to be effortlessly charmed?
