Meet "Birdee!" This sweet and loving 1-2 year old, poodle mix is ready to be adored by her new family! There is something special about this shy but energetic girl. She was afraid of her own shadow when she first came to her foster home but warmed up almost instantly when she was shown love and safety. She has fallen in love with her foster family which is a great indication of her capacity to adapt. Birdee is cautious and will need a patient owner who is willing to let her warm up and feel safe.

 

Birdee is approximately 12 lbs and is rockin' her pound puppy buzz cut but we see curls coming in so watch out! This girl is about to have a glow up! She is snuggly and eager to please. She loves naps in the shade, zooming in the yard and is learning how to use a leash and explore the neighborhood. She is great in her crate and sleeps soundly each night. We have yet to hear her bark, wimper or growl. She truly is a dream companion. She is potty trained and hasn't had any accidents in the house. 

 

Her foster family is a fun mix and she has shown no distress with men or women. The youngest person in the house is a 12 year old boy so we are unsure how she is with small kids or other dogs or cats. She did allow some kids at the park to approach with care and give her love.
