Hi, I’m Waffle Warrior! You can call me Waffle.
I am approximately 5 years old and full grown at 10.2lbs. I am a chihuahua, and foster mom calls me a “true chihuahaua” which I guess means that I have a bit of an attitude – but also that I am baby shaped and loveable.

I need a minute when I meet people. Like…a whole minute. I need to take my time, sniffing and observing, to make sure that you are a safe person. See, I’ve been around some not-so-safe people in my past, so I’m cautious. Also, I’m a chihuahua…so I’m cautious. Haha.
If you go nice and slow with me, allow me to set the pace, let me come to you…we’ll be friends in no time!

I might be cautious with people, but I’m happy to be friends with other doggies right away! I love the big ones, the small ones, all of them! I would love a doggy sibling in my forever home…it’s a good way to start understanding the humans. Plus, I love a doggy playmate!

I am crate trained and very comfy in my cozy crate. I‘m still working on potty training. My last home was not super concerned with pottying in specific places, so this is all new for me. I’m a smart kid, though, and once I’m all settled in, I’ll be ready to start learning all the good-dog things you want me to know.
