Hello, My name is Picasso and I'm looking for a family to call my very own.

 

About Me-

I’m a male, 7 months old,  and I’m listed as a cattle dog mix but there's no doubt that I have terrier in me due to my handsome scruffy face. I weigh in at 32lbs but I could stand to gain a few pounds. We aren't 100% sure but the puppy calculator says I will grow to be about 45lbs.

 

My Hobbies-

Being a puppy, I enjoy all things play. I love running and wrestling with my brother and foster brother and chasing the outdoor cat if he will run. I love chasing balls and other objects but playing with squeaky toys is my absolute favorite thing to do! I enjoy going for walks and am learning not to pull with a prong collar, I walk nicely by your side with it on. 

I've recently developed a talent for catching mice and have caught two so far. (as far as my family knows *wink* *wink*)

 

I do great in my crate and sleep all night in it as well as eat in it and take naps during the day. I will even go in freewill and nap if the door is left open. As well as being a crate champion I am also doing great with potty training. The first thing I do when I get outside is use the bathroom. I've only had one accident in the house and that was early on. I've never had an accident in my crate and will quietly whine to let you know when I need to go out.

 

My Home Life-

As far as people come, I love them all, kids, men, women. Everybody is a friend. Although I can be a bit too friendly at times and jump up, which is something we are working on. I live in a house with 5 kids ranging from 17 to 4 years old so I am no stranger to chaos. Although a house with kids who are a bit older and are able to understand my puppy antics may be better.

 

I'm a little bit cautious when it comes to new dogs, which could be from a bad experience in my past, so slow introductions with dogs are best because I might not like everyone at first. Once I know them though, I'm very friendly and love to play. My foster family feels like a house with a calm but playful dog who will be patient with me and show me the ropes would be great.

As far as cats go, I'm still trying to understand them honestly. My foster has a chill, dog savvy cat who lives outdoors. I'd like him to wrestle with me but he just runs, so I chase him instead. All that said though, I think I could learn to coexist with a cat as long as they are patient with me. I'm a very quick learner and listen well to correction.
