Hi Rover family! 

I'm Lil Cooper, a lively 2-year-old dachshund/chihuahua mix weighing 19 lbs. I absolutely adore treats and playing with my foster brothers who are bigger than me. I walk well on a leash and am eager to learn more to build my confidence. Potty training is a breeze when I'm on a schedule, and I sleep soundly in my crate at night. I respond well to redirection from my foster mom or when she calls me in from outside. I do better with older kids as I might accidentally push little ones down when jumping around. I haven't been around cats but likely will chase them.

I'm very affectionate and enjoy cuddling up on the couch with my human friends. My playful nature means I can be quite energetic, so a family that active would be great for me. I have a soft spot for chew toys and can spend hours amusing myself with them. While I am still working on my confidence, patience and positive reinforcement go a long way to help me adjust.
