Are you looking for a giant, fluffy teddy bear to cuddle and love?
My name is Dafne and I may be just the girl for you. I am a 4 month old Great Pyrenees. I have been with my foster mom for a while because I needed to gain some confidence and weight, but now I am doing much better and ready to find my family.
I do LOVE kids. Despite my large size, I am quiet and gentle even with young kids. I will sit quietly so they can give me lots of attention. Sometimes I will walk away for a minute when I need a break, but I always come back for more.
I also do well playing with other dogs. They help me be confident and burn some of my energy playing. Sometimes the little dogs pick on me because I am so quiet natured, but I still love them. I haven't been around cats a ton, but my foster mom thinks I would do ok because I am so sweet.
I am doing pretty well with crate training, but do prefer to sleep on the dog beds outside of the crate. I use the dog door to go outside pretty well too. I am still a puppy and will need continued training and supervision while I learn everything you want me to do. I am already between 35-40 lbs and will likely hit 100 lbs or maybe a little more as an adult. That does include all the fluff I am going to have. I do need regular exercise a few times a day, but I am not over the top and love my naps too.
My foster mom says she is going to be so sad when I leave because I am always so happy to see her and need love before I go out to play every morning with the other dogs. I also talk to her a lot to tell her how much I love her. She says it is so sweet, even if it is a little bit of a whine, so I keep doing it.
