Hi friends! My name is Amberlyn. I am a very happy (and very beautiful) Aussie mix of about two years old and about 45 pounds. I am looking for a furever family who can keep up with my energy and zest for life!
Some of my favorite things are toys, walks, runs, hikes, and training time. I love to make my people happy, so training is super fun for me. I am very smart and highly treat and toy motivated, so teaching me new things is a breeze. I will need some more obedience training when I find my new family, but what I would REALLY love to do is agility training or something similar. My foster family thinks I could even be good enough to compete!
I walk very nicely on a leash and am a perfect running buddy. I love having a job and am very focused when I have a task to do. Because I am so excitable and because of my herding instincts, I would probably do best in a home as an only dog and without small children. I really love to chase things that move fast! After all, that’s what I was bred for, right?
I am already potty trained and I know how to sit, shake, lay down, and wait. I sleep through the night in my crate without making a peep. I don’t love to be in my kennel during the day and will sometimes cry if I know you are home. I would much rather be with my people if I have the option!
