Hi there! My name is Alby, but maybe I should have been named “Little Orphan Alby” because I was just a little guy when I was turned in as a stray! Nobody knows who my parents are or what my siblings looked like, so it’s hard to say what breeds I am or exactly how big I’ll get. Luckily I’m too cute for that to really matter, but knowing some info might help you make a “guesstimate”: I am between 3-4 months old, I gained 3 pounds in 3 weeks, and as of April 1st I’m nearing 10 pounds. 

Anyway, let’s talk rags to riches! Since arriving in my foster home I would say eating is my number one passion next to playing with my foster sister, chasing toys, chewing on sticks in the backyard and cuddling up on the couch with the family. They say I’m as smart as a whip and that being treat motivated makes me fun to train. I already learned sit and how to go in my crate on command! I also sleep soundlessly through the night (though I probably still need a potty-break halfway). 

That reminds me, I’m pretty much house trained already! I know how to use the dog door and to let myself out when given access to it. If I can’t hold it I usually make it to a pee pad, but majority of the time I don’t even need that. Bottom line is: I’m well on my way to being a potty-time pro!
