Hi there! My name is Rory O’Rourke and I’m looking for a very special forever family!

I am 2.5 years old, I weigh 11lbs and I am a non-shedding, hypoallergenic poodle mix. I am also SO cute!

Let me tell you about myself!

I was in a local shelter and not doing well. The shelter people said I was too scared there, so they asked Rescue Rovers if they would help. A lady came and got me and took me to her house.
I didn’t know she was a helper. I was scared. I acted like a jerk.
She was determined, though. She didn’t stop trying to help me even when I acted like a BIGGER jerk (teeth may have been involved.)

I’ve been here for 4 months now. I’ve made some changes, but I’m far from perfect.
We think it’s time, though, for me to find my forever family. For one thing, I’m starting to bond to my foster mom, and it would really be best for me to do that with my own mama. For another thing, I’m MUCH less of a jerk!

I am great in my crate, unless I need to get out. Then I will bark, bark, bark! But that’s only when I gotta go.
I am learning it’s not okay to use teeth. It’s been months since I did that.
I can wear a leash without losing my mind. In the beginning, I would go crazy because of the leash but now I’m much more used to it.

I can be picked up – you just have to be gentle about it.
I am both muzzle conditioned and used to an ecollar correction. This will keep everyone safe and happy if you decide to adopt me.

I have always been good with dogs. I love my furry friends! I would happily hang out with dogs all day. If you’re looking for a friend for your pup, I might be your guy!
I am also a HUGE fan of dog toys!
