Hi friends! My name is Jazzlynn and I am a gorgeous 1.5 year old, 38lb Sproodle! That’s a Springer Spaniel/Poodle mix – cool, right? I have soft curls when my coat is long, but like most rescue doodles, I was a matted mess by the time I made it here and had to have a close cut.
(side note – doodles need to be groomed, humans. Like…we NEED IT.)
Anyway.
I am a fun, outgoing girl and I love to make friends. I think humans are great – I like men, women and children so I would make a great family dog!
Springers and poodles can both be higher energy dogs, but foster mom says I have a nice moderate energy. Maybe a 6-7 on a scale of 1 to 10.
I am learning to walk nicely on leash and doing well. I tend to pull a bit because I am so excited for our adventure, but I am super smart so with a little training, I should be a perfect walker. I’m also great in the car, if our adventures are a little further from home!
I am good with dogs of all sizes and currently live with pups who are both a lot smaller and larger than me. I am friendly with all of them and I love to play with my doggy friends. Wrestling is my *favorite* game, though, and dogs about my size are my favorite playmates. Another medium sized pup in the home would be a huge bonus for me!
I have been known to do some light resource guarding. I don’t always want to share toys. A family who will keep an eye on that and not allow me to be bossy won’t have any trouble with me.
I am crate trained and haven’t had any potty accidents in the house. Part of that is because foster mom keeps us on a good schedule with feeding and crating, so I’m sure you’ll need to remind me, but I have good instincts and again, I’m a smarty lady.
If you think I could be the girl for you, apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication
