I’m a sweet and gentle 1 year old male chihuahua mix weighing 16 lbs, and I’m looking for a family that loves to play and cuddle! I’m a little shy at first, but warm up fast, and I love to get pets and attention. I’m friendly with all the dogs I meet and know that cats should be given their space! I’m cautious with little kids, but warm up after a while. 

 

I’m already great in the house and know how to potty outside. I do think shoes and stuffed animals look like fun toys, but I’m learning to let them be and play with my own toys instead. I mostly just want to carry them around. I’m not super fond of my crate yet, but do well in it when my people are nearby. I do well with a dog buddy to help me know we’re safe when my people aren’t home. 

 

I’m a smart boy who should pick up on training fast. My foster mom thinks I was a circus dog because I like to stand on my hind legs to play and bat my front legs around like I’m juggling! I have the softest fur and I’m a good size to cuddle on your lap. But I’m very well mannered and won’t jump in your lap unless you invite me.
