Hi, my name is Cocomo and I’m a petite 1 year old heeler mix. At a 25lbs, I’m the perfect size! With my youthful looks, pretty red coat, and expressive ears, I get lots of compliments. 

 

A few of the many great things about me: 

• I'm sweet and affectionate - I’m initially shy with strangers (and in general), but once I get to know my humans, I will not hesitate to come beg for pets. 
• I’m great with dogs big and small; my foster sister and I are two peas in a pod!
• I have great house manners, and I’m 100% potty trained. It’s worth noting I’m generally very gentle and take treats delicately.
• I get attached to my humans quickly - so much so that I have trouble being away from them, so I'm looking for a forever family who can help me overcome that. 
• I'm looking for a detached home - no condos or apartments for me since strange noises make me barky

 

While I'm curious by nature, I sometimes get spooked by things that are new to me, but my foster mom says I'm becoming a more confident dog every day. I’d really love go to a family that will continue to work on my confidence, and work on my leash skills. I would do well in most settings and even though I haven’t met any children yet, my foster mom thinks I’ll do great with older, dog-savvy kids.
