Meet Brinkley!
Your future best friend is ready to meet you!
Brinckley is a lovable mixed-breed pup — part Australian Cattle Dog, part Pit Bull Terrier, part Rottweiler, and a blend of a few other breeds — and she’s just about to turn 1 year old. She currently weighs about 30 lbs and should be full grown at this age, though she may fill out a bit more.
Brinkley is friendly, affectionate, and one of those rare dogs who doesn’t bark when someone knocks on the door! She’s great with kids — she’s spent the past 6 months with a 5-year-old and is a fun, playful companion.
She’s house trained, crate trained, and sleeps soundly from 9 PM until after 7 AM.
Like many young dogs, she still has some puppy energy — she’s working on not jumping up when excited — but has made great progress! She’s great with kids, though sometimes she forgets that she’s not supposed to nip when she wants to play. Brinkley does best with a slow intro to other dogs at first, but once she feels comfortable, she’ll be their best playmate for life.
