Hi, my name is Izzy, and I’m a loving 4 year-old husky mix! I currently weigh 45lbs and have the most luscious coat you'll ever have the pleasure to touch. 

 

A few of the many great things about me:

• I love dogs and humans alike: I love meeting and playing with new friends! I get along very well with my foster sister and do a great job at reading her cues when she's grumpy.
• I’m potty trained, and my house manners are impeccable. I don't love being in the crate when everyone is having fun without me during the day, but sleep through the night without making a peep. Once I'm exercised, I like to chill on my bed while you do your thing.  
• I’m very good on leash, so going on hikes and walks with me is a treat.
• Calling all runners! My foster mom says I'm an exceptional running buddy: save for the occasional squirrel distraction, I just want to go go go, all while listening to verbal instructions like a pro. 
• I'm good in the car, so you can take me anywhere!

I’d really love to go to a family that will include me in their activities, exercise me thoroughly daily, give me lots of belly rubs (my favorite!), and laugh at my quirks (I can't help but be chatty when I'm very very excited). I would do well in most settings and even though I haven’t met any children yet, my foster mom thinks that with a bit of training, I would be sweet with them as long as they treat me in kind.
