Hi friends! My name is Kodabear!  You can call me Koda.  I’m a two-year old fun-loving male Husky mix. Right now I weigh about 55 pounds.  I could stand to gain a few for sure.

I’m a playful, athletic guy that loves affection from my humans.  A few of my recent accomplishments are that I am potty-trained, crate-trained and already know how to sit and shake on command. I REALLY want to learn more things! I still get the zoomies in the morning and evening.  It’s pretty cute, if I do say so myself. When I meet new people I need a minute to get comfortable, but once I know you…it’s on! We’re going to be besties!

I’m good on a leash, walks are the best!  I do pull a little.  That’s usually because I want to see all the things and to say hi to all the other walking dogs. Sometimes I get a little excited and jump around if I can’t meet them. I can definitely move passed this with a little training. I love treats!  That makes training me a lot easier. I’m smart and have a lot of energy, so I do need regular exercise, but I have an off-switch and am content to curl up next to you and just hang out. I’m self-entertaining at times too! Just give me a new toy or ball and I’ll play with it all by myself. Right now I’m working on fetching. I think I’m getting the hang of it, but I don’t always want to return the ball. I LOVE toys, car rides and playing with other dogs.

I’m currently living with other dogs and cats and doing well with them, although my feline friends don’t like my youthful exuberance or curiosity.

My foster family hasn’t seen me with young children, but they think I’d do best with respectful kids over eight since I’m kind of tall and can jump when I get really excited.

If you’re in search of a super affectionate, furry friend, let’s meetup!  I would love to be your constant companion! Apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication
