This cute guy's name is Santa's Little Helper, and if you're thinking "That sounds familiar", you're absolutely right! He's the spitting image of the beloved dog from The Simpsons.
While he may not be the exact same pooch that resides in Springfield, he carries a lot of the same charm and spirit as his cartoon namesake! Santa's Little Helper is an adorable 1 year old mixed breed pup who weighs in at a perfect 16 pounds. He is close to full grown but could still gain a few pounds. He's is a fun-loving puppy with a goofy personality that will keep you smiling all day long.
Santa's Little Helper feels comfortable and secure in his crate which makes him an easy addition to any household. He's doing great with potty training and does well on a schedule. While he does good with other dogs, he can be a bit nervous around them, especially if they are bigger. He's like "Whoa, you're huge!" With a little patience and continued socialization, he'll gain more confidence.
Santa's Little Helper's foster mom and dad think he would be great with kids as long as they can be the same with him. He loves to give face licks so be prepared for lots of puppy kisses. This affectionate little guy had never experienced the joy of playing with toys until he arrived at his first foster home. He is now learning to play and his foster family is helping him discover the fun in every squeak and bounce. His favorite pastime you ask? It's being with his people. Santa's Little Helper is incredibly loyal and loves to follow his humans everywhere but the moment you sit down he'll be there and ready for some snuggles. This sweet pup is incredibly food motivated, which will make training a breeze! Santa's Little Helper is eager to learn, especially if treats are involved. He is also an impressively high jumper and climbs like a mountain goat. If there were doggy olympics, he'd win gold in both categories.
