Hi. My name is Ninita (my foster calls me Nina for short!). I am a 1 year old terrier mix girl, and I can’t wait to find my forever home! I can be a bit shy at first, but my foster mom says I have the cutest run that reminds her of a baby deer, and the way I climb up on her is absolutely heart melting. So I guess my charms are pretty hard to resist!

At 12 pounds, I am the perfect size for cuddling. Yup, snuggles are the best! Being close and getting scratches on my scruffy head makes me feel cozy and safe, so be prepared to give me plenty of one-on-one time. 

Everything is kind of new to me, but I am catching on real fast. Learning basic commands like come, sit and stay has been easy alongside my foster sister, and I’m a natural at fetch! I go in my comfy crate whenever I am asked, and I figured out the dog door right away because I know to go outside when nature calls.

I like having a backyard because walking around the neighborhood is a little bit intimidating. I’m not sure I’ll get used to all that hustle bustle, but I do ok when things are quiet and calm. I also like finding sticks to munch on, but my foster mom has given me alternatives for chewing and I like those even more!

Wrestling and running around with my foster sister is pretty fun. A respectful doggy sibling around my size might be nice, though I also love having a person all to myself. I could even do with a nice kitty - I think they’re pretty strange so I may just keep my distance.
