Meet Alfie Boy, the newest class clown in the room! This 2yr old aussie/collie is a natural comedian, with some agility and parkour skills added in! He's eager to please, and it only took him 10min and a slice of a bologna to learn how to sit. Like the TV character ALF, this boy is learning to navigate in an environment that is foreign to him, and he's rocking it! He loves his crate and will go in there on his own, he walks well on a leash, and he goes to the door when he needs to potty. Since he's still learning boundaries within a home, being crated when alone would be safest for him and for your shoes. He has been very friendly with all dogs and people he's met, but since he is still a bit mouthy while he learns what he's not allowed to chew, I would suggest having dog-savvy kids around him. He knows the cues of other dogs and is on the submissive side. He has not shown any signs of reactivity or resource guarding, he actually loves sharing toys in the form of a friendly game of tug-of-war. This boy would love a home with another dog playmate, and he is the perfect type of dog for taking on adventures! Once in the car, he sits quietly in the back seat.
