Dear future family, my name is Lady Sage but you can call me Sage. I just turned 4 (happy birthday to me) and weigh about 50 lbs. My foster family is struggling with putting me up for adoption and has put this off for a while because they say I am just one of those special dogs that just don’t come along very often. I am the perfect combination of energy, well-behaved and beautiful.  

I love to walk and run and would love to find an active family that can match my enthusiasm for life. I get very excited on walks and will try to help you walk faster. The best part though is that even if you don’t walk me every day I still don’t chew, I don’t dig, I don’t jump on furniture or people. Sometimes I get excited and bark at new people, after all I am a German Shepherd/Husky mix but I love my people and get so excited when they get home.  

I live with teenagers and two other dogs and I get along very well with them. Sometimes I just sit outside my foster teenage sister’s room and wait patiently for her to open the door in the morning. Its my favorite part of the day. I am crate trained and can work a doggie door like a champ.
