Hi, future family! My name is Coalmen (Coal for short), and I am a 1-year-old male pointer mix looking for my forever family. I weigh around 40 lbs and should not get much bigger. I am house and crate-trained. My foster mom leaves me in the house during the day, and I use the doggy door with no problems. I spend most of my time playing in the backyard with my toys. I LOVE toys!!! 

My foster mom says my most notable characteristic is being the SWEETEST dog on the planet! I am fantastic with humans of all ages, and I currently live with a busy 1-year-old toddler. We are practically best friends!! I am great with all dogs, too. My foster brother is a grumpy old man, and I am very respectful of his space. I chase the squirrels in the backyard, so I think a house without kitties is best. Over the last few weeks, I have been working on my manners, and so far, I am doing great!
