Hi everyone, my name is Lady Penelope and I am ready to find my furever home.  I am a 9 month old yorkie/yorkie mix that weighs 7.5 pounds.  In the rescue world who knows for sure, right?  My foster Mom is not sure of my background but where ever my life began I must have been pretty spoiled!  I jump right up on the sofa when I come in the house so hopefully you will allow me on the furniture in your home.   I love my humans a little more than the other dogs so I would do great as an only dog.  Foster Mom says I am a little bossy because if the other dogs try to sit next to my human on the sofa I give them a warning growl to let them know I was here first. Foster Mom says that is not allowed here, something called resource guarding, so when that happens I have to get down from the furniture. I don't like to be left alone for long periods so a retired couple or someone who works from home would be ideal for me and a fenced back yard will be an added bonus.  I do sleep in my crate at night with very little complaining but I am smart enough to know there is no need for me to be in that kennel during the day.  I am working on my house training skills and I am doing really well if I am kept on a regular schedule and when I potty outside I get a delicious treat!  Hurry and fill out that application so I can find my furever home as soon as possible!
