Hello there! I'm Kelty. I am a sweet a sweet as pie, 1 year old spayed female heeler mix who weighs 35 lbs. I’m probably done growing at this point, so I’m a perfect size for hiking and cuddling on the couch! Here are some other things you should know about me:

-I’m the most affectionate dog! I love to cuddle with my people and will do anything to make them happy. I want to be everywhere my people are and will follow them around the house. I have had very good recall in the yard and will make an awesome hiking partner.
-I’m potty trained and haven’t had any accidents in the house or in my crate.
-I’m fully crate trained. I sleep in my crate quietly through the night with no accidents, and spend full work days napping in my crate while my foster mom is at work. My foster mom watches me on the pup cam during the work day and says I am a perfect angel. My crate is my safe space!
-I walk well on a leash
-I am GREAT with other dogs and am respectful of their space. I’m submissive and am not pushy with dogs who are less playful.
-I love playing with my toys and have no problem sharing with my foster sibling.
-I ride well in the car and enjoy car rides, although I may need a boost up as I’m a bit nervous to jump so high!
-I’m good with cats and kids, and every adult that I’ve met on walks!

I would thrive as both an only dog or as a sibling to another dog. I would love a home that will continue to train me and to give me exposure to the world (Home Depot and Lowe’s trips would be wonderful). I’d also make great hiking buddy!
