Hello all of my new best friends! My name is Lily Of The Valley, my foster mom calls me Valley. Lily of the Valley is a beautiful white flower, just like me, and it means return to happiness, which is what I'm trying to do too. I was probably pretty happy when I was a puppy with my mom, but since then life has been a hard for me and I most likely haven't been treated well by some humans. But now I'm a Rescue Rovers girl! This means I'm safe forever from being back in a scary shelter, worrying if I'm going to be euthanized, to no fault of my own. I'm ready for you the happiness I know I'm going to find in my forever home! I'm a 1 year old mixed breed (maybe some kind of shepherd?) I am a petite girl (even though I love to eat!) I weigh 36.6lbs and am pretty much full grown. I have been completely housebroken since coming to my foster home, not a single accident. I will sleep in a crate at night (also with no accidents) but, if my crate is away from the rest of the pack I do bark to let everyone know that I want to hang out too. My foster mom leaves me out at night now and I always sleep very quietly on my bed in the kitchen. I figured out the doggy door almost immediately and let myself out to go potty when I need. I have a scar on top of my head, my foster mom isn't sure what its from but it gives me a very cute Mohawk.
I am the sweetest, most wholesome little girl you'll ever meet. I just want to love and be loved! I am still a little on the timid side with all people but it isn't something that is going to hold me back. Being in a home environment where I am safe, loved, and get plenty to eat has been very helpful in making me a more secure dog. I like to hang out by my foster mom in the kitchen while she cooks dinner. One of my favorite summer treats is when a loose ice cube falls to the floor and I get to it first.
I am young and athletic and I LOVE to play with all of my foster siblings! I am a very submissive girl which makes it really easy for me to get along with pretty much all other dogs. A foster home I used to live in said I wasn't good with cats but, my new foster mom is surprised by that because of how sweet I am. We haven't had another chance to meet a cat, unfortunately. I do great with respectful kids! I am learning how to sit, and to not jump up on all the people I love.
If you want a chance to spoil this flower girl and love her forever then apply to meet her!
