Hey, I'm Sitkka. I'm probably some kind of Australian Shepherd/Kelpie mix (best guess). But as you may know mixed breeds are the best! We are generally smarter and come with less health problems than your average purebred. I am a 3 year old female, weighing in at about 55lbs, and I'm fully grown. You may notice my beautiful eyes, yes I have heterochromia! One blue eye and one brown.

If you look closely at some of my pictures you can see I'm always wearing a smile because I am a happy ray of sunshine! Why am I so special? Ever since coming to my foster home from the shelter I haven't had any accidents in the house or car, I figured out the dog door almost immediately, I sleep in my crate at night for 9 hours without any accidents, I travel like a dream and am so dainty when I jump up in the car, I don't destroy things and have only chewed on my toys, I walk fairly nicely on a leash, I love treats and am pretty good at catching them. I can be very treat motivated.

I love all dogs, big and small, and I love playing with them! My foster siblings and I have a blast! I do put my wild puppy foster sibling in her place when she gets too rambunctious with me. I like to play and exercise but I'm also an expert napper! I have probably had a bit of a rough past in the way I've been treated by humans but, I warmed up to my new foster mom and dad within a matter of minutes. Nobody has ever seen me attempt to nip anyone even when I was nervous and fresh out out of the shelter getting my giant microchip shot. As soon as you have my trust I like you to rub my haunches and I get the zoomies! I also love to play bite and wrestle with humans. My play bites are very gentle and I also take treats very gently from people's hands. I would probably do great with respectful kids, although I haven't met any kids since being in my foster home. We aren't sure how I would be with cats, I haven't found any to meet yet.
