Here are my quick facts: I am just over 8 months old, & I weigh about 60 lbs. I may get a little bigger, but this is probably about how much I will weigh as an adult. I am a golden retriever/lab mix with beautiful yellow fur & soulful brown eyes that are ready to melt your heart. I am working on my confidence, & would love a family who has the time & patience to commit to helping me learn that the world isn’t such a scary place. I have a calm & gentle disposition, & I am good with other dogs. Once I get to know my person, my favorite thing to do with them is to snuggle up on the couch & get lots of pets & attention. I like to play with toys, and I am doing well with my leash work - I would like a family who will take me on walks to keep me slim & trim, or maybe even teach me to fetch! I am working on my crate & potty training, & am doing amazing with both when kept on a schedule. I sleep quietly in my crate all night. I haven’t met a cat yet, but I think with a proper introduction & boundaries I could learn to live with one. As far as kids go, respectful children who know to give me space when I am feeling scared would probably be the best fit.
