Hi there, my name is Paloma! If you’re looking for a professional snuggler, I’m your girl. I’m a 2 year old, female “Heeler Mix” weighing in at 25lbs. I was a stray before coming to Rescue Rovers, and I am so happy to be safe now on my way to finding a forever home!
Everywhere I go people remark on my sweet disposition. I’m really an easy-going, happy girl with lots of love to give. I’ll quietly nap the day away or I’m totally up for adventures. I’m just the right size for all activities, and am well-behaved in the house and the car. My favorite place to be is snuggled up on the couch, gazing up at you with loving eyes.
I get along well with dogs of all sizes, but I’m not very playful so I’m not sure how I’d like very energetic dogs. I can be part of a pack or your one-and-only! Cats worry me, though, so I’d prefer to live without them, but may do OK with a dog-savvy cat with a slow intro.
I’m fully house-trained and taught myself how to use the dog door in just a few days. My foster parents have left me out while running errands and I just sleep on the couch (as long as the dog door is closed; I will try to find you otherwise). I sleep in a crate at night but I’d much rather sleep with you.
I love meeting new people because it means more pets and affection, but I am calm about it and understand that I can’t meet everyone I see. I think I’d like kids too, as long as they’re gentle with me. I’m very smart and food motivated so training me is fun!
