ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A PUP WITH A BIG PERSONALITY? WELL HERE I AM!!
Hi everyone, my name is Lord Linus Long Body, you can call me Linus for short. I am a 2 year old male who-knows-what breed? The shelter had me listed as a Dachshund mix, well my foster Mom sent my photo to the Dog Scanner App (we scanned my photo several times) and it says I am a Basset Hound, Beagle, Jack Russell Terrier, American Foxhound, Dachshund mix but whatever my DNA says my foster Mom says I have the personality of a Basset Hound and if you know anything about that breed you know we are natural clowns. I have never met a stranger and love everyone I meet. I am good with the other dogs and show a lot of interest in the kitty so I would probably do better in a home without a cat or other small animals. I weigh just under 20 pounds and at 2 years old I am full grown. I am house trained if you keep me on a schedule and sleep in my crate at night. My foster Mom says I am not only a clown but also very, very smart. Today I rang the bells on the back door when I wanted to go outside to potty.
Oh, I almost forgot to tell you about my mission. I am on a quest to kill and shred EVERY stuffed animal or toy I can find. So far I am doing a good job! Foster Mom says it is no longer funny so stuffed toys are now on my NO NO List! I am playing with bones and balls that I can not shred. I have not been destructive with anything other than stuffed toys. What would make me the best dog I can be would be a training class to help teach me a few much needed commands plus it would help us to bond.
A home with a fenced yard is what I am looking for because one of my favorite activities is running zoomies. With all of the snow we currently have I have been doing my zoomie routine around the kitchen island. I do jump up when I am happy to see you, even if you have been out of my sight for just a minute or two so very young children may not be a good fit because I would feel bad if I knocked them down.
