Well hello there! Nice to see you, your shins sure look comfy, mind if I lean in while you pet my floof? Ahh, that’s the stuff!

Now that we’re talking, let me introduce myself. My name is Mundo. I’m a bit over a year and a Newfoundland and a bit of Caucasian shepherd mix. If you know much about my breeds, you know that I’m a gentle, friendly giant floof. I enjoy the cold, the water and other creatures. My current home has a couple toddlers that I’m pretty good about not knocking over, but sometimes I just can’t help it, I’m over 100 lbs after all. I also live with a cat and I love playing with other big dogs. I like all dogs, but big ones are so much more fun to play with. They are slower like me and I don’t have to worry about knocking them over. Still, as long as I have company, I’m happy. I enjoy the dog park and can even manage some jogs despite being so large, but I need a good long nap after. I enjoy exploring and can be a bit obstinate about coming back home, there’s just so much to see and do out there in the big wide world. So I’d prefer a secure fenced yard. My foster mom says I get a bit ‘needy’ when I’m bored. I guess staring at her 3 inches from her face while panting when I haven’t had enough activity or play time could get a bit annoying. So she thinks my new home needs play buddies and frequent walks/dog park days for me to really stay happy. I’m getting better on the leash, and do great on the halti. I’m fully housetrained and even crate trained, though I freely roam my foster home without issue. When it’s cold outside, I also really enjoy just being outside, it gets hot under all this fur. When I’m inside, I try hard to get the fur blanket off, and tufts of it leave frequently. Foster mom says that my new home needs to be ready for grooming, which is perfectly fine by me since I love getting brushed, and since I like the water, I’ll even get in the bath for you! I’m truly a BIG companion dog, and though I love being outside, I do not want to be an outside dog, I prefer to be by my people and animal friends. If you are interested in being my friend too, apply to adopt me at  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication. I already am neutered, chipped and up to date on my vaccinations!
