I have adorable cattle-dog style markings, with the cutest dots on my legs - maybe that’s why my foster mom calls me Dottie! If you couldn’t tell by my breed profile, I am a real smarty-pants! Even though I am still pretty young, I am doing AMAZING with my potty training & basic obedience, I love learning new things & I am even learning to like my crate. Once I settle down, I sleep in my crate all through the night. I may be a little shy at first, but if you talk to me nicely I will give you the cutest little smile and tail wags, followed by climbing straight into your lap. I tend to approach new situations slowly, but that switches quickly to curiosity & confidence. Playing with toys is one of my favorite things, & I love chomping on plushies & nylabones. I do great with other dogs, & would like a fluffy friend to show me the ropes in my new home, but I would also be okay as your one & only, since I can keep myself busy with my toys, & lots of snuggles from you, of course! I have not met a cat yet, but I think if my family taught me proper boundaries I would do fine with them. I love kids, but am working on not jumping up & normal puppy mouthiness so a family that understands & can help me through that would be best.
