My name is Char. I’m a 2 ½ year old, male, hound mix. I weigh in at about 60lbs of muscle. It’s difficult not to have an ego when you’re this handsome and such a sweet guy. I enjoy chewing on bones, playing fetch, snuggling, going for walks, and romping around in the yard with my foster family. I am house & kennel trained, and I know all the basic commands. In fact, I recently spent a few weeks with a trainer. They taught me so much, and now I’m on the road to being the best boy around. I get along with other dogs, kids, and adults! I do have a steep prey drive, so no cats for me. But I live with small dogs in my foster home and we get along just fine!

 

While the beginning of my life is a mystery, when I first came to Rescue Rovers I was very scared of the human world, and if I’m being honest, I still am. My foster mom and I are working very hard on this, and I’m doing great! My dream family would be one that will continue my training, has a lot of love to give, and wouldn’t mind a sidekick to go on adventures with.
