My name is Luma Lou and I am a 7 month old Aussie/doodle mix.  I do not shed and I don't have the curly poodle coat but I am as soft as velvet so yes, I would be considered hypoallergenic. I weigh approximately 20 pounds and the puppy calculator says I should top out at about 34 pounds when I am fully grown.  I am a little bit shy and take a minute to warm up to you.  I LOVE playing with the other dogs at my foster home but am full of puppy antics so a training class would help me not only to bond with you but teach me some manners.  I am smart as a whip, I learned how to sit in an afternoon (but I am pretty treat-motivated). I get along with other dogs with a good introduction but I do NOT like the kitty, she is pretty scary so I try being brave and stand my ground and bark at her.  I will chase her if she runs so a home without a feline will work best for me.  

 

I need an active family that will help me work off some of the energy I have and a fenced yard will be a major bonus.  Once I am full grown and my bones are stronger I would make the best hiking, running companion you could ever dream of.  I love kids but would do better with kids over 8 years old so I don't knock those little toddlers down.  I am house and crate trained and sleep all night in my crate without making a peep.
