I am Schnookums! And my foster mom says the name fits because she just wants to squeeze and cuddle me all day! I am a male, 13 week old mix of Your-Guess-Is-As-Good-As-Mine. The shelter listed me as a pit mix though.

But who cares about breed. Let me tell you about my personality. I am ADORABLE. I wiggle my whole body when I’m excited to see you, which is always. And then, when you pick me up, I lay my head right on your shoulder or snuggle under your chin. When I’m back down on the ground, I love to wrestle and play with all the other dogs at my foster home and I love the kids. I crawl right into their lap.

I live with kids older than 8 right now and should probably stick to that. My teeth are super sharp right now and my favorite thing is to play tug, including with your clothes as you’re walking. So I’m probably not a great fit for young kids. I am learning my manners, but I’m just still a puppy and have a long way to go. With some patient correction, I’m sure I’ll learn to only play tug with toys.

I am working on housetraining and I go in my crate really easy if you have a treat! I will need training though. It will help build my confidence in social situations and to be a well-behaved adult dog. Puppy antics are only cute when we are puppies!
