Hi, I'm Mr. Blue, a 4.5-year-old blue heeler boy on a quest for my forever home!
I have all the hallmark characteristics of my breed: smart as whip, fiercely loyal, playful with other dogs, friendly family dog, but with herding instinct I need my leader to remind me to control at times!
I am house and crate trained, walk well on a leash, and know some basic commands. I really want to please my people, so I am a quick learner too. Now that I've grown a bit, my energy level isn't as high as you might think! Although I love to play with other dogs, fetch, and go for hikes or walks, I also really love my cuddle time with my favorite humans. Because my herder instinct can make me a bit mouthy when I'm in play mode, I will do best in a home with kids 8 or older. I also will do best in a home with another dog and no cats.
