Boo! Did I scare you? My name is Vampirina, & I am not scary at all! In fact, I am very shy & am looking for a forever home that can teach me how to be brave! I am a four month old collie mix girl that weighs about 25 lbs - the puppy calculator guesses I might weigh 75 lbs when I am fully grown, but my foster mom guesses I will probably weigh closer to 50 based on the average weight of the breeds she sees in me. I have shiny black fur with white markings, and little black & gray spots on my paws. My foster mom says I have the cutest ears  - they remind her of a bat, which is why she named me Vampirina, and I can’t wait to use them to flap my way into your heart!

Here are some quick facts about me:

   ⁃    Once I feel safe, I am very curious & clever. I know sit & am working on basic obedience. Since I am so shy, walking on a leash is still a bit scary for me - I will need help polishing this up in my forever home, but am making good progress.
   ⁃    I LOVE my crate - I go in there all on my own to calm down when I feel too overwhelmed during the day. I sleep all night in my crate & I take my naps in there during the day. I would like a family who will keep up with my crate training to help give me the structure I need to feel secure in my new home.
   ⁃    I am potty trained, and have not had an accident in my foster mom’s house. She keeps me on a schedule to make sure I get let out often enough so I can stay successful with this.
   ⁃    Playing with other dogs is my FAVORITE. Once I get warmed up to them, I love running, jumping, playing, & even sneaking toys away from them! I would love a confident fur sibling in my forever home to help show me the ropes.
   ⁃    I have not been around cats, but I am a curious herding breed, so based on my personality my foster mom thinks dog-savvy cats would be best.
   ⁃    As far as kids go, I am still learning that people are safe, and how nice it is to be loved by them. I would prefer a home without them or with calm older kids who won’t scare me with loud noises or sudden movements.
