Introducing Safiya! This adorable cow-print gal weighs it at just about 25 pounds (we suspect she’ll top out around 75 lbs we think that means she’s both the perfect medium/large size.
Safiya has proven to be an eager and quick learner in her foster home! She is happy to nap and sleep the night in her crate without complaint, and she keeps it clean. She is also housebroken now, signaling her need to go outside by sitting patiently at the door. (Foster mom does caution that if she’s to be left alone for more than an hour or two, she’s best crated to prevent an accident.) Safiya is also enjoying learning new commands, and will “sit” or “kennel” when instructed.
She confidently approaches those with four legs ready for playtime, and those with two-legs a bit more cautiously she will need someone patient to help her gain trust and willing to put in the work to build a relationship with her. Safiya would like your attention but she’s not sure how to receive it. She’s super friendly, timid,sweet and wants to love. We think Safiya would enjoy a similarly playful canine sibling, but would likely irritate a less energetic dog.
