Hello! I’m Bellarina or ‘Bella’ for short. My foster mom says I have the most beautiful brown eyes that will melt your heart. I’m a sweet, affectionate one-year old shepherd mix and I weigh about 40 lbs. I love to try and climb in my foster mom’s lap and get all the love and attention I can. Even though I’m all about my belly rubs, I am just a year old, and still have a lot of puppy energy. I enjoy my daily walks, playing with my foster brother and sister and getting my energy out with a good chew toy. My foster mom says I’m a quick learner and I’ve already mastered house training and sleeping in my kennel all night. Now I’m working on some basic commands like sit, stay and how to walk nicely on a leash. Give me a few treats and I’m sure I’ll get those down in no time! I like meeting new people, young or old, but sometimes get a little too excited and jump up to say hi. I’d probably do better in a house with older dog savvy kids and no kitties.

I’m eager to please and am a really good girl. My ideal forever home is an active one where my family is willing to continue working on helping me be the best version of myself.
