Introducing Velocity! I'm the perfect package of personality, smarts, and sweetness. I'm a 6 month old female border collie/husky puppy who weighs about 28lbs, which means I'm be around 45-50lbs full grown. My favorite things in the whole world are snuggling with you, playing with you, and following you around. Do you see a common theme? Food and toys are also great. I am crate trained and sleep quietly all night, and I'm working on housebreaking. I haven't had a single accident, but I do need to be supervised still - after all, I'm just a pup. I'm so smart though, I know I'll catch on quick. I already know "sit" and would love for you to teach me more. I want to please you, and I'm responsive when you tell me no. My energy level is nicely balanced - I love to play, but can also settle down and just chew on a bone. I have been on a few walks and they were super weird, I'll have to get used to things around my neck, but I think I'll grow to really love them. I could be a walking, hiking, or running companion once I'm grown!
I love to play with the other dogs in the house, although they do sometimes scare me. I would love a companion who is gentle enough at first that I can get to know them, but then I would love to play all day! In fact I might be scared at first in many new situations, but I warm up quickly and learn so fast! Once you help me understand I'm safe, I'm super sweet and curious. I can be funny and mischievous too, so I hope you like that!
I have met children of all ages, and although I'm very friendly, the littler ones were really easy to knock down. I could live with people of all ages, but if you have small children I'll need some training and supervision. Otherwise I think 5 and older would be best!
