Well hey Border Collie lovers, I'm McCloed! I'm a 1.5 year old Border Collie mix and like any Border Collie I thrive on exercise and anything to stimulate my brain. This means it's important that my adopter has an active lifestyle. I am one smart cookie, my foster mom has been teaching me all sorts of things: new tricks, house training, working the dog door (which I'm now a pro at), basic manners, and how to walk on a leash. My foster mom laughs at my goofy personality that is always trying to please, and she says I'm catching on quick. Every night I sleep in my own room in my crate, and I sleep like a worn out puppy. I'm quiet and am usually in my crate from about 10:30PM-8:30AM with no problems and never any accidents!

 

I LOVE people! It's important to keep in mind I'm young and right now I'm probably a bit too excited for little kids to handle. With time though and the right training I have the potential to be one unforgettable dog. I was a stray that had to fight for my food so I do better being fed separately and even though I'm neutered, dominant male dogs and I usually don't hit it off too well. I'm also willing to bet most cats would not be a fan of me. My little foster sister and I love each other though! She's only 30lbs and 6 months old but she is tough and we will play rough all day long if we're allowed. Submit your application on me, my foster mom and I would love to meet you!
