Howdy! Are you looking for a black belt stuffy annihilator, WWE smackdown tug champion and pup cup connoisseur? If so, I could be the pup for you!

My name is Nomi and I'm a two year old heeler mix weighing in at 35 lbs. My foster mom isn't sure what I'm mixed with, but she's fairly certain I'm part pig. I snort like a pig when I'm happy, waddle like a pig when I walk and I even love to watch pigs on t.v. and try to make friends with them!

A rough life before Rescue Rovers taught me that humans can be scary, but I'm learning that humans can actually be really great. And once I fall in love with humans, I promise to love them forever. In fact, I'll spend every moment trying to show my humans how smart, funny and good I am.

I've also learned that I really love the indoor life. I love my crate, it’s my safe place. I’m house trained and even know how to use the doggy door! My foster parents trust me enough to leave me out when they're gone. They usually come home to find me watching Animal Planet.

As you can see, once I get comfortable, my personality shines! My foster parents say that it may take a few weeks of patience and routine to get me fully comfortable in my new environment, but they say I'm worth it!

My favorite activities include sunbathing, stuffy destruction, walks around the neighborhood, car rides for pup cups, chewing my bones, zoomies, playing tug, naps and bum scratches. In fact, my foster parents taught me the phrase, "Let me see that butt" and I throw my rump their way for some good scratching.

Because I enjoy a bit of herding, I would do great in a home with kids 10+. I love my foster cat brother and would love to live with a dog savvy kitty! I don't love ALL doggie friends, but would do well with a non-dominant dog as dominant dogs scare me. I'd also be perfectly content as an only dog that gets all the attention!

I'm very sensitive and just want my people to be happy with me. I've started training with my foster family and am very food motivated. I can't wait to learn more!

If you could give a sweet girl like me love, safety and lots of snacks, you could be my forever family! Please apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication
